JESUS IS ALIVE AND WELL! Yes, Jesus is alive and well and living in YOUR heart, if you are a Christian. "And the life that I now live, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." Christians have a RELATIONSHIP with Jesus - and that relationship brings new life! Many people claiming to be Christians have only believed the stories they were told in church - they believe in Jesus - but they have no relationship...the Buble tells us that Satan believes Jesus is the Son of God, and trembles... YOU ARE RIGHTEOUS BECAUSE OF JESUS! Romans 5:1 says "Therefore, being justified by faith, we have PEACE WITH GOD through our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans 8:1 is like it: "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." WE OVERCOME BECAUSE OF JESUS! Romans 8:37-39 Yet in all these things (we go through) we are more than conquerers through Him that loved us (Jesus). For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers,nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any created thing can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. It's Up To US!!! We are the ones who make the decisions in our lives! We decide to trust Jesus, or lean on our own understanding of the situation...I KNOW that others sometime get you down, or hurt you, but that is just one of the (many) trials of our faith...and how we react shows God (and others) our faith, what we really believe. Our decisions are like seeds, going down into our lives and growing into whatever we happen to have planted. If we plant fear, doubt and unbelief as opposed to love, joy, peace, and faith, we can't really complain; we just got what we planted ourselves - so BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU PLANT! |
