How do I lead someone to Jesus?

Here's one way you might witness...
There are 2 questions you must ask first:

1. "If you were to die right now, do you know FOR SURE you would go to Heaven?"
Regardless of their answer, respond in some way, letting them know you are listening.
2. "If you DID die, and went to Heaven, if God asked you why He should let you stay, what would be your answer?"

If they answer ANYTHING OTHER than "Jesus died for me - I'm forgiven," or "Jesus is my Lord and Savior," then they may not be saved. Show them how they can be. Below is an example.

"Joe, if you were to die right now, do you know for sure you would go to Heaven?"
"No, not really."
"Joe, thanks for being honest with me. You CAN know for sure, but before I tell you how, let me ask you another question...If you DID die, and went to Heaven, and God asked you why He should let you stay, what would you say?"
"Well, I'm a pretty nice guy, and I DO go to church regular..."
"Joe, that's great. I'm GLAD you go to church. But we are saved by GRACE, it's the gift of God. It's not something you do to deserve it"(at this point show them Romans 6:23).
"Joe, everyone has sinned" (Show Romans 3:23)
"God doesn't want to punish us - He made a way for us, a way of Faith in Jesus (Show them John 3:16, 2 Peter 3:9).
"Joe, can you think of any reason why you can't ask Jesus in your heart RIGHT NOW?"
"No, I can't"
"Pray with me then - Just repeat after me: Lord Jesus, I'm a sinner, and I believe You died for me. Please forgive me, come into my heart, and be my Lord and Savior. In Jesus's Name I pray, Amen."

SEE HOW EASY IT IS? COPY THE SCRIPTURES IN THE FRONT OF YOUR BIBLE, UNDERLINE OR HIGHLIGHT THEM FOR EASY READING. PRACTICE FIRST WITH A FRIEND FOR MORE CONFIDENCE, THEN STEP OUT IN FAITH!
NOW GO OUT AND BE FRUITFUL!!!

OKAY, THEY'RE SAVED - NOW WHAT ?

Now that your friend is saved, bring him to church. Sunday school is an excellent place for him or her to learn more about their Savior!
During the week encourage them to read the Gospels (Mathew,Mark, Luke and John) and Psalms. Later add Proverbs.
While this may seem like a lot, it's actually no more than YOU should be doing.

Encourage your friend daily. Listen to their questions, answer them as best you can, and if you don't know the answer, write it down and get back with them. Pray with them as often as possible!

Remember Jesus is their Savior, not you! It is your responsibility to Jesus to care for this person like they were your blood brother or sister.
Paul referred to Timothy as his son he had begotten in the Lord.
You may find that the best friend you've ever had is right around the corner, waiting for you to lead them to Christ ! You may have to lead them back over and over again as they mature in Jesus; be patient and remember your own faults - how you judge others is how Jesus will judge you!

Encourage them to set aside a time every day for personal Bible study. Encourage them to memorize Scripture.

You don't have to lead someone using the tactics I just shared - be led by the Spirit of God!
If you'll ask for guidance, ask the Holy Spirit to give you words to speak, then He will, and your conversation may well be quite different!

Let the Lord Holy Spirit be your Guide...I know of folks leading others to Jesus in public restrooms, so don't think it has to happen in any particular place, or in a certain way.
