Delighting is SO MUCH better!

Psalm 16:1-3
Preserve me, o God, for in Thee do I put my trust.
O my soul, you have said unto the Lord, Thou art my God, my goodness extendeth not to Thee;
but to the saints who are in the earth, and to all the excellent, in whom is all my delight.

Give your life into the hands of the Lord Holy Spirit - Jesus sent Him to help you, you know...trust Him!

Regardless of what our current President may, WE ARE A CHRISTIAN NATION !
I wish he and our other politicians would get some balls and STAND UP FOR GOD just as the Prime Minister of Australia did...apparently our President is ashamed to make a stand for Christianity.

I've said it.

Now that I've blown off a little steam, what does God think of this ?
He's not concerned.
He planned for all of this; it's part of what He is doing in these end times, and we are going to be seeing a lot more of this type of thing as God brings what has been hidden out into the light !

Rom 13:1 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

Rom 13:2 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

So where do we go from here ?

We TRUST our God. We stand up for what we believe whenever possible...we pray for our Nation, as we always have...and we pray for ourselves, that we would not be found lacking in some way.
We must learn to depend on our Lord as never before - the time is coming when we will need our faith everyday if we are to survive !
Sound tough ? Not really.
We should be walking in faith everyday, for "The just shall live by faith."
Besides, walking close to Jesus is what we WANT to do anyway!
Its our goal.
Satan has been decieving people into believing its a horrible thing to have to walk by faith everyday.
It's not.
It's lovely.
Take your stand today, and everyday. Don't be an Obama.

"Lord Jesus, I'm a sinner. Forgive me, and come into my life, and be my Savior.
I believe You are God's Son, and that You died for me so I could have this forgiveness; please come in my heart now - in Jesus's Name I ask it, amen."

Decide TODAY that you're going to seek Jesus with a new urgency every day!

DELIGHT in Him, and he will give you the desire of your hearts... TRUST ALSO in him, and he will bring it to pass!

Make Proverbs 3:5-6 your LIFE SCRIPTURE ...that's a scripture you choose out of the Bible to help guide you through life!
If you have another Scripture that means more to you, use it...memorize it and live it to the best of your ability!
Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness...that may mean forsaking sins you currently enjoy, or improving on your thought-life; no one knows you better than yourself, so take a good, hard look and go from there.
A lot of people have a secret sin-life...lay that down, ask Jesus to help you with it, and walk closer to Him this year than ever before!
After all, He died for you...made a way for you to rise again, just as He did, and enter into Heaven, just as He did...don't you figure you owe Him more than you are giving Him?
